My research interests lie in the dynamics of the Antarctic Ice Sheets in the Ross Embayment during the Quaternary, and in particular the LGM.
I use a combination of insitu cosmogenic nuclide dating and glacial geomorphology to study the icefree landscapes that flank the outlet glaciers of the Transantarctic Mountains.

When Im not crunching numbers and making pretty graphs I'm out rock climbing, caving and cave diving. Im also a member of the Christchurch alpine cliff rescue, NZ CaveSAR and RT1 USAR rescue teams.
